Oh boy. The possibilities...
Apple recently hired Benjamin Vigier, a NFC technology expert. Not much has been said about Vigier's hiring, but some of his former projects have been creating mobile payment apps for other big companies - Starbucks, PayPal...
According to ubergizmo.com, Vigier's new title is Apple's new Product Manager of Mobile Commerce. But what exactly will he be doing? Will NFC be brought to iPhones and iPods? Will we be paying for purchases with our iPhone in the future?
What would this mean for IT Mobility?
Who knows, but it's something to think about.
